Job description

- Plan and deliver inspiring Visual Arts lessons aligned to the MYP Arts and DP Visual Arts frameworks - Guide students in developing their Studio Work, Comparative Study, and Process Portfolio for the DP, and MYP arts unit planners - Foster critical and contextual thinking by exposing students to diverse artistic traditions, movements, and contemporary practices - Support students in presenting cohesive, personally meaningful bodies of work for internal and external assessment - Manage and maintain a well-resourced, safe, and inspiring art studio environment - Assess student work using MYP criteria and DP assessment requirements, providing timely and constructive feedback - Collaborate with other Arts and Humanities colleagues to build interdisciplinary learning opportunities - Organise and support school art exhibitions, displays, and events that celebrate student creativity - Contribute to pastoral duties, co-curricular activities, and the wider school community

Requirements

• Relevant degree, diploma, or proven practical background in the domain.
• Demonstrated professional experience in a related business or technical setting.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving, and communication skills.
